Stand in Solidarity with Trans Youth: An Interjurisdictional Outreach from Inclusive Catholic Jurisdictions

“Inflammatory language that politicians & other public figures
frequently use to denigrate members of the LGBTQ community
creates a hostile environment that fuels anti-gay stigma,
promotes radicalization and, in a worst-case scenario,
can lead to the kind of deadly violence seen at the Club Q.”

Sign our interjurisdictional statement against anti-LGBTQIA+ hate speech & violence!

Dear Lay and Ordained members of inclusive Catholic communities:

Our “Prophet Pod”—our Inclusive Catholic Creative Cluster on Collective Prophetic Speech—crafted a 1.5-page response to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Denver’s recent 17-page document on trans students in its Catholic schools and the November 19 Club Q shooting in the neighboring diocese of Colorado Springs.

On the one-month anniversary of this tragic shooting, our Prophet Pod will share a 1.5-page statement against anti-LGBTQIA+ hate speech and violence, through social media ad buys.

You can read the statement here.

Make a gift of any size by December 17 to include your name on this statment and to show your support for our LGBTQIA+ siblings! All signers will have a “hotlink” to their local community & jurisdiction, and all donors will receive a report after December 19, to let them know of the impact and reach of this effort.

You can donate through Facebook here.

You can donate by credit card here.

If you with to pay by some other means (e.g., check), please text (512) 826-0280.

We thank you in advance for your support of this campaign—and for spreading word to all who might be interested in supporting this interjurisdictional effort!
